Si te estás preguntando cuánto tarda Webtoon en aprobar Ad Revenue en Canvas, la respuesta real es: depende. Pero no es tan confuso como parece. El tiempo de espera suele depender de dos factores principales:

1. Qué tan bien cumplen tus episodios las reglas de Webtoon
2. Cuántos episodios tiene tu serie cuando aplicas

Esto va además de los requisitos básicos de siempre: 1.000 suscriptores y 40.000 vistas mensuales, sin los cuales no puedes enviar ninguna solicitud.

La importancia de seguir las reglas de Webtoon

Esto no sorprende. Webtoon es muy estricto con sus normas y revisa tus episodios uno por uno cuando aplicas a Ad Revenue.

El contenido NSFW es lo que más retrasa tu aprobación

Tu serie en Canvas tiene que estar bien censurada. La desnudez y las escenas sexuales no están permitidas si no están completamente cubiertas. Muchos creadores publican contenido NSFW, pero quienes pasan la revisión saben censurar todo sin dejar nada explícito.

Algunos incluso eliminan la parte subida de tono y la publican completa en Patreon. Es una buena idea para atraer más miembros y tener otro ingreso extra, especialmente si no quieres alterar la versión de Webtoon.

Y recuerda marcar el episodio como Mature, o es casi seguro que te lo van a bajar.

Y sí, Webtoon siempre está mirando. Más aún si tu serie ya genera buenas vistas.

Sí. Me ha pasado. Una de mis series fue rechazada y Webtoon incluso borró episodios porque las escenas eran demasiado sugerentes, aunque estuvieran censuradas. Mis series sin contenido NSFW pasaron sin dificultades.

Si tu serie es NSFW, lo más común es que la revisión tome alrededor de un mes, aunque una buena censura reduce ese tiempo.

Ojo con esto: el resultado puede llegar el mes siguiente. Si te rechazan y tus estadísticas del nuevo mes ya no cumplen los 40.000 views, no podrás volver a aplicar inmediatamente.

Ejemplo:
Tus estadísticas de marzo cumplen los requisitos, aplicas en abril. El resultado llega en mayo y es un rechazo. Pero tus vistas de abril no llegaron a 40.000, así que no puedes volver a aplicar en mayo. Tendrás que esperar a junio.

Si te aprueban, no perderás tu Ad Revenue aunque tus vistas bajen después.

Otros puntos importantes de las reglas

Si tu serie tiene temas fuertes como suicidio, bullying, asesinato o sangre abundante, pon un aviso adecuado y marca el contenido como Mature, igual que con NSFW.

Otro error común: usar material con copyright. Una vez puse en un episodio la portada oficial de una novela que me gustaba… y me bajaron el capítulo. Como dije: Webtoon ve todo.

La cantidad de episodios afecta muchísimo tu tiempo de aprobación

Este detalle Webtoon no lo explica, pero influye más de lo que crees.

Si tu serie tiene:
- Más de 20 episodios: la aprobación suele tardar apenas unos días hábiles
- Entre 15 y 20 episodios: la revisión es bastante rápida
- Menos de 15 episodios: la aprobación será más lenta incluso si tu serie es completamente apta para todo público
Las series cortas son más difíciles de evaluar. Por eso, lo más seguro es aplicar cuando ya tengas al menos 15 episodios.

¿Cuánto tardan en aprobar Reward Ads?

Los Reward Ads no son lo mismo que los Viewer Ads. El programa antiguo de recompensas de 2022 ya no existe, pero Reward Ads todavía está disponible para series que alcanzan 100.000 vistas en un mes. Solo necesitas llegar a ese número una vez (mientras no te rechacen).

El proceso de revisión es parecido: cumplir reglas, evitar contenido dudoso y tener una cantidad decente de episodios.

Si estás tratando de calificar para el Programa de Ingresos por Anuncios, probablemente te hayas preguntado qué cuenta como vistas mensuales globales en Webtoon Canvas. Y como los requisitos de Webtoon suelen ser vagos o confusos, es muy fácil quedarse dudando sobre qué se registra realmente como una vista válida.

La buena noticia: cuando entiendes cómo Webtoon contabiliza las vistas, es muchísimo más fácil planear tu calendario de publicaciones, optimizar tu serie y alcanzar tus metas mensuales. Aquí tienes una explicación completa, clara y pensada para creadores.

¿Qué son exactamente las Vistas Mensuales Globales?

Tus Vistas Mensuales Globales representan el total de vistas que reciben todos los episodios de tu serie, desde cualquier parte del mundo. Da igual si el lector es de EE. UU., Europa, Asia o Latinoamérica: cada vista cuenta.

Antes no era así. Antes de la pandemia, Webtoon solo contabilizaba las vistas de EE. UU., lo que hacía muchísimo más difícil la monetización para creadores internacionales. Durante el COVID-19, Webtoon cambió el sistema, y desde entonces todas las vistas globales suman a tu total mensual.

¿Qué Cuenta Para Tus Vistas Mensuales Globales?

Aquí es donde la mayoría se confunde, así que vamos punto por punto:

1. Cualquier vista de episodio cuenta — de cualquier lector y país

Cada vez que un lector hace clic en un episodio, obtienes una vista.
No importa si:

✔ el lector es de otro país
✔ usa la app
✔ usa la versión web
✔ está leyendo un episodio antiguo

Un clic = una vista, siempre que ocurra durante el mes actual (EST) y que no sea actividad automatizada o spam.

Si el mismo lector vuelve a leer varios episodios o relee tu serie, cada vista se cuenta por separado.

2. Las vistas de previews también cuentan (si el lector hace scroll)

Los previews en la app móvil sí cuentan como vistas mensuales globales en Webtoon Canvas, siempre que el lector haga scroll o interactúe con ellos.

El preview funciona como un mini-episodio.
Pero hay un detalle importante:

⚠️ Muchísimas series recientes ya no tienen preview.
Depende del año en que creaste tu serie.

Si NO tienes preview, no pasa nada. Puedes:

✔ hacer tu thumbnail muy llamativo
✔ optimizar el título de tu episodio 1
✔ enganchar al lector desde el primer panel

Si SÍ tienes preview → aprovéchalo al máximo. Es una oportunidad muy grande para sumar más vistas.

3. Las vistas de episodios eliminados también cuentan

Este es el punto que más sorprende a los creadores, pero sí, es totalmente real.

Si subiste episodios, obtuvieron vistas durante el mes, y luego los eliminaste, esas vistas igual cuentan para tus Vistas Mensuales Globales.

Esto aplica incluso si:

✔ eliminas episodios antiguos
✔ eliminas solo algunos episodios
✔ reinicias tu serie
✔ borras todos los episodios

Mientras esos episodios hayan recibido vistas durante el mes en curso, esas vistas quedan registradas y se suman al total.

Pero hay una gran excepción:

⚠️ Si borras TODOS los episodios, ya no puedes aplicar al Programa de Anuncios.
Tu serie queda sin contenido público.
Aun así, las vistas de ese mes seguirán apareciendo en tu reporte.

Entendiendo la ventana de tiempo: Webtoon usa EST

Webtoon cuenta todas las vistas en horario EST (Eastern Standard Time), no en tu zona horaria local.

El conteo va desde:

Si no está disponible públicamente, no puede generar vistas.
